\u82f1\u8a9e\u539f\u6587\uff1a<\/strong>Thalif Deen, a former United Nations Bureau Chief and Regional Director of the Inter Press Service (IPS) news agency, he was a Fulbright Scholar and received his Master of Science (MSc) in Journalism from Columbia University in New York. He has worked as deputy news editor of the Ceylon Daily News, senior editorial writer for the Hong Kong Standard, and was formerly a spokesperson for the United Nations Secretariat. He has twice represented his country, Sri Lanka, at the United Nations General Assembly.
